We are a small family-oriented church located in historic Sharpsburg Maryland and close to the Antietam National Battlefield.  The church was organized in 1872 and has been reaching people for Christ in Sharpsburg and the surrounding area for 153 years.

Our outreach does not just encompass our local area but also with missionaries around the world.   As part of Christ's great Commission: "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. (Matthew 28:15)"

Whether you're looking for a new place to hear from God, looking for a new church home, or you're in town visiting family and friends, you are our guest. We offer traditional preaching that is rooted in the Bible and relevant to your daily life. Our dress code is casual.  Although our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in traditional “Sunday” dress.  Our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Sharpsburg Bible Church.
